The History of Costume Jewellery

Costume Jewellery has changed over the decades. It was first seen on those less fortunate who were seeking cheaper imitation jewellery.
With the mix of cheaper metals it allowed people to afford jewellery that looked expensive but was half the price.

Costume Jewellery also called fashion jewellery, is made with a mix of metals and materials using varied designs, making the jewellery versatile.  Costume  jewellery has evolved, with the mix of precious metals the jewellery has become more exquisite, stylish and glamorous.

The tag once labelled on costume jewellery has been redefined, once known as cheaper imitation jewellery can now be classed as affordable jewellery that is elegant and beautifully designed and this costume jewellery can now be found on the person both rich as well as poor.

Costume jewellery has got a major fillip in recent times by designers who experiment with them to create beautiful masterpieces. Jewellery such as hoop earrings, stacking earrings, and even the evil eye jewellery can be mixed and match to suit any outfit.

The evil eye jewellery  jewellery collection that is online has a mixture of materials and metals to make it look elegant expensive and has an intricate design showcasing what costume jewellery has evolved into. It is now difficult, nearly impossible to tell the difference between high end jewellery using only the best precious metal and costume jewellery that uses a combination.
